LPN program NYC

U.S.A. New York

I was going to college for my RN but I had a baby and decided that as a single mother taking the LPN to rn route will be better for me (financially, mentally LOL). The college that I am enrolling in took some of my credits from my first school so all I have to take is bio, pharm, medical terminology and the schools required freshmen seminar which I don't really mind taking. But all four of these classes are to be taken in next 6 months so I will sit for my teas I'm September(I was told as long as my grades and stuff are atleast in the 70th percentile, but I am going for the 90th) I'm jus kind of nervous cuz it's such a fast amount of time. If anyone has taken LPN course can you just tell me the breakdown of the program, how the classes and stuff go etc. also at my new college I was asking some girls who are going for clinical medical assistant if they know anything of the LPN program they were very negative and saying its a waste of time just go for it rn because I'm not going to find a job.

I did a free LPN program in high school and I'm currently in school for my RN at the College of Staten Island. Im grateful for the LPN experience I have, but I wouldn't pay for LPN school. I think it would be best for you to just go straight to RN school. You'll be taking pretty similar classes and the end results will be much for gratifying.
