Dual degree BSN/MS at Pace Univ.

U.S.A. New York

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and I need some help to answer a few questions about the BSN/MS program at Pace Univeristy. I have checked a lot of other schools such as Stony Brook, SUNY Down State etc. I am not from NY, so I have a hard time to figure out how comparable these schools are as far as their nursing programs go, as well as what is the reputation for Pace Univ. I am thinking to apply at Pace for the BSN/MS degree. I already have a MS in Immunology (BS in Biology). I only want to do the 15 month accelerated part at Pace and then apply to some other school for a CRNA program. I have checked out Stony Brook but missed the deadline for starting this summer. I can't apply at SUNY because my prereq. courses are older than 7 years. So, my question is: how good is the MSN/BS program at Pace? Their curriculum for the BSN part seems to be different from that of other schools. Would I be able to get a good education there and have it be good enough so that I am competitive enough to apply to a CRNA program later on? Schools I may be looking into for CRNA are Columbia, SUNY Downstate, Univ. of North Carolina, Rush in Chicago, DePaul in Chicago etc.

I would appreciate if any of you can shed some light on my questions above.

Thanks in advance.
