Did anybody here every get an accelerated bsn from njcu in jersey city? If so can you share the cost of the program? Also how competative is it to get in? If my undergrad GPA is a 2.7 but my prerequisite GPA is very high do you think I have a chance? Are classes offered on a daytime basis Monday to Friday?

Yeah, they emailed me saying that you can do it twice if you wanted... :)

I bought the study guide as well and will focus on that. One never knows what to expect... I just do NOT like those kinds of tests at all! :)

Good luck!!!

I don't like them either, but if you want to become a nurse, better be prepared for A LOT WORSE!:hdvwl:

Good luck to you too!:specs:

Well aware of that! :) just feel since we already have a Bachelors degree you could skip out on the reading part and math.... bring on the Bio and A&P!

Hey,

A million thanks to Casey021501 and mattfisher07 for the copy of the Hesi study guides, i'm really gratefull.

Thanks once again.

cheers

hi bibabibaa.... what i meant was that ur application will be accepted as long as u can prove that u are registered for the preq and will complete it before the session commences but ur being admitted to the programme will depend on wether u pass the preq or not and ur score in the HESI test.

cheers

Got it onyxng77:specs:...Thanks a bunch;)

Do you guys know what NJCU is looking for in terms of HESI score. I know in their open house they mentioned that the require 80%, but does anybody have any idea of the HESI scores for the people who got accepted in the previous years?

msrouge, before you mentioned that we can take HESI 2 times, how do you know that?

I took it today and it wasn't fun at all! The easiest part was Math, I got 100, but everything else was rough I thought. I got a score for each section but I didn't get an overall score + I'm not quite sure if they take only certain sections into a count or the whole exam. I'm pretty sure I got the required 80% but this is not competitive score...so now I know what the exam is like, I want to try again but I don't know if I can!? Where does it say that we have 2 chances to take it?
