Bio 189 At Unlv --waived??

I was on the UNLV web page and it says that BIO 189 which like Fundamentals of life science or something like that can be waived. Now By the end of the summer i will have already completed anatomy and physiology one and two plus micro biology, anyone know what the criteria is for this course being waived?? thanks.

It cannot be waived -- it is a requirement for the UNLV School of Nursing. I had asked the same question to my nursing advisor and she said, "the Biology department can waive it if it is a pre-req for a higher biology class you plan on taking, but you need to take it in order to get into our Nursing program."
