...is all I need.

I'm working on moving back to Virginia early next year (March/April). I already have my MA here, so I want to be able to just transfer it all over there. Unfortunately, I've asked on the Va forum and no one has been able to give me an answer on how to go about this. And I'm so lost doing searches on Yahoo and everything I always end up with sites that I wish I hadn't seen. LOL

Any ideas?

Michael, I'd love to help, but I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you a certified medication aide, or a medical assistant?

If you are a medication aide, then you need to check with the VA Board of Nursing to see if they have medication aides in that state. Not every state does. If they do, then you will need to find out what documentation they need to review to see if the course you took meets their requirements for certification.

Good luck!

I'm a Med Aide, and I tried posting there. I don't have a clue if Va does or not, and I'm not even sure where to look, or a number to call, or who to talk to. Unfortunately, I posted asking on the Va board a few days before I posted here, and this is the first response I've gotten for either inquiry. So you see where I am?

Google "Virginia State Board of Nursing" or go to the Nursing Spectrum website where they have links to all the state boards of nursing. You can find the contact information there. Good luck!

Ah! Thank you vey much!
