Hello all, just wondering if anyone has completed the BSN program at U of Minn., and if so, how was it? I see that they are starting a new masters program to replace the previous accelerated BSN. Has anyone been accepted to this new program? Any advice would be great.

No one has been accepted to the MN program yet. The first class will start Sept. 2007. People who applied will be notified if they are being called in for an interview sometime in Feb. The MN Board of Nursing just approved the progam in Oct., so it is really new:) I have a friend who was in the first graduating class from the post-Bac program and she has nothing but outstanding things to say about the program and the school. I would guess the BSN program is very good as well since it is taught by the same school. I've applied for the MN program for 2007 and the people at the school that I've dealt with have all been very nice. Hope that helps!

Well good luck on your interview! I know those things can be kinda nerve racking, but I am sure you will do fine. I would hopefully be applying for the 2008 fall start. Thanks again
