New Grad RN Jobs

U.S.A. Minnesota

Published

Hello to all! I just recently moved to the area after graduating from nursing school in May. I am taking the Kaplan review course June 18th-21st and then my boards the following week on the 27th. I am just curious as to how much to study in between my review course and the actual test. Any suggestions!!! Also, since I am new to the area, I am not familiar with any of the hospitals and am still currently job searching. Can anyone recommend a hospital that would be great for a new graduate RN????!!!!?!?

Thanks so much for all your help!!! : )

Congratulations on finishing school! Where are you living in Minnesota?

Thanks : ) I am now living in Eden Prairie so I have been looking at most of the hospitals near here. I have found that most of them have new grad programs most of which are filled until September. What area are you from? Would you happen to have any advice on which hospitals would be the best to apply to?? I am really interested in OR nursing but most places require atleast 1 year of prior experience. Thanks again!

Specializes in FNP.

A friend of mine used to work at United in St. Paul and really liked it as a new grad; she was in MedSurg and gained good experience. Good luck!

Good luck with your job hunt! Have you found anything?

Thanks! I actually did, I accepted a job with United hospital so I am getting excited! What about you, where are you working?

I'm working in a smaller hospital in South MN. (I don't like to post where online.) I am working for the same company as you though. How do you like it? I love Allina!
