    Hello Everyone,
    Well I am glad to see that I am not the only person in IT who has decided to change where he wants to work and what to do. I have some long term plans. I am going to be taking my HESI A2 Entrance Exam here in Oct. There are 30 slots open for this next session so I am study hard to get a high scores. I have just completed all of my Pre-Reqs. My goal is to do a PA Program down the road. But small steps. I am the one who works full time in my home. We have 4 wonderful kids at home so the wife is a stay at home mom. She keeps very busy. She also home schools all the kids. So the program that I am trying to get in to is a ASN and they are night classes so I can work and go to school. I have been in IT for over 18 years and it is a time for a change. Well thats all I can say for now. Its nice to meet everyone!

    Congrats! I'm an IT->RN'er too, it makes for a nice transition. You will be the go-to guy for the emr's and tech stuff, and adored when you show people how to shave precious little time off their charting

    I have been involved with Deployment with EMR software. I think it will be a lot of fun but hard work.
