performance based competency

by suni

We do not do performance based competency, rather we do articles with questions and if you get an 80% you pass.
I would like to do performance based/hands on and am wondering if anyone has a few of these they could post or send, or do you know a website that has some exaMPLES.
I found some for peds on a delmarlearning site but could not locate any for adults.

Thank you

Default Re: performance based competency
We have something we call skills day. We are requried to attend and go through several stations such as safety in x-ray, how to use O2 tanks, lifting patients, blood bank, how to report equipment failures.
We also do the articles with questions.
We get our training through the education department at our hospital.
