I would really like to hear from someone who is actually taking classes through the UOP LPN/RN program. :welcome: I have read a few comments, but some sound like SPAM. :angryfire What I would like to know is how many papers do you write a week? Do you have to spend one night in class, one night on a team project and one night in clinicals? How about time management? :monkeydance: I would like to continue to work my 3-4 schedule (12 hour shifts).

But is it feasable to work a 3/4 day shift, research and write papers, team projects, presentations, do clinicals, and jumble a family life? :uhoh3:

I have a wife, and a 3 and 4 y/o boy and girl who need daddy time.

I need to make a choice between UOP for 2 years or Excellsior. Thanks.

I have been attending UOP and start the LPN-BSN program in 1 week. I have 4 kids 14, 10, 7 and 1 1/2. I work 24 hours /week. So far it is going well.

I wrote a 4500 word paper for Human Growth (due at the end of the 5 weeks) and the team presentation as well as quizzes each week.

A&P is more demanding and required much more of my time. No papers for this instructor but fill in the blank and essay question type of tests each week w/a cummulative test at the end.

I understand that during the 7 week Med/Surg course you do the clinicals too. Not sure how it all will work yet. Will know more after the 19th...
