Has anyone applied for the RN program for spring 2017. Just turned my application after taking my kaplan (2nd try), passed pretty close. I was a nervous wreck the first time, I bombed it. took at Parham Rd, the first time, but the open testing site did not help with all the noise in the background. So I decided to take Downtown, the enclosed testing area made a big difference. I hope I get in, and for all those who applied, good luck to you. If you haven't taken the kaplan, good luck! I started a thread as well, back in august with no replies. I applied to the lpn to RN program and am praying I get in!! I called up there this week and was told there were enough applicants for them to start the program, I was getting concerned since I hadn't seen anything about it on allnurses like usual and everyone I knew that said they were going to apply backed out. I was told the would be sending out the letters the third week of October. I've got my fingers crossed and wish the best to you to. Btw, how were your Kaplan scores?

Hey Nurse AC. I've been waiting as well. My kaplan score is on the thin line. I averaged a 74, even with a 3.8 GPA which apparently is not much a consideration, but all I have to do is cross my fingers and pray it out. My math and reading was good, i did ok on the biology but fir some reason the messed up on the writing, I think I spent more time on the reading which gave me a good score and rushed a little on the writing which messed up my score a little. How was yours?

I had 93 in math, 82 reading, 70 science and 71 writing. I knew the science would be hard, but did not expect the writing to be like that! I think I have a 80 overall tho, hopefully good enough. And yes they said 3rd week, not sure if they meant we will recieve or letters are going out then... I'm so nervous I hope we get in! So are you doing the traditional track or the bridge program?

Your 're definitely in. Awesome scores. Am doin the traditional. Good luck. I had a 86 in math, 82 in reading, 65 in biology and flopped writing with a 57, could believe the score in writing, but at least its a 10% percentile. Your scores are great, you should be fine. Good luck! Let me know how it goes...in 2 weeks or so.

Sorry, I never got an email showing you wrote back. Your scores aren't bad, they are better than what's required! I hope we both get in! Have you heard anything yet? I've been waiting for the mail everyday lol.... I'm surprised there are not more people here, seems like every admission cycle had a thread except this one.

Thanks. I called there yesterday and they said, they will mail out in the first week of November. Its all about a waiting game now! I didnt see much thread either, well at least we are here, fingers crossed! Good luck agai.

Congrats! I guess we are both in! Lol! It felt good. I got it 2 days ago! Hope to see you in class. Just bought the code at the library today, and then Monday get the other stuff rolling!
