Rasmussen's LPN to RN program

Nursing Students LPN-RN

Updated:   Published

Hello,

Can anyone share their experience with 's LPN to RN program? I am a graduate of Rasmussen College Practical Nursing program and am now in the LPN to RN program. I am wondering if someone can tell me if the classes in the ADN program are similar to the PN classes. The titles are similar: mental health, maternal child, etc. but will I be learning brand new material or is it going to be repetitive? Any input will be helpful, thank you in advance.

PS- Please save your Rasmussen College bashing. I already know Rasmussen's pro's and con's, and I believe that any nursing program has its problem.

Looking at the transition program too. Curious, how much is it if you have all the pre nursing courses already completed, do you know?

My tuition is about $5-6,000 a quarter. So around $24,000 for the whole program. I only had to do one gen ed with this program, and it's the same for other LPN's who got their degrees from other schools. I am finishing up my second quarter so let me know if you have any questions!

Good luck to you. I decided to go back to PHSC hopefully I will get in this fall. :-)
