Is anyone else applying to Georgia Highlands Spring 2017 LPN-RN bridge program?

Yay! Do you know anything about the program or when we can expect to get letters? I'm really hoping its not too long - the wait is already making me so anxious! I'm really curious as to how many applicants they have.

I was told we would know around the first of November, but I was looking at last years posts and those ladies were getting their letter in the middle of October and the third week of October.

I know we go to class for 3 or 4 days for the first 6 weeks or so, then we cut back on class time and have clinical days. It's really intense and you don't have time to actually read all the chapters covered. You have to study the power points that the teachers give.

Did you figure up your application score on the worksheet?

I'v only encountered 2 other people who were applying to the bridge program. Have you had any classes with anyone applying to the bridge? I hope there aren't many applying! From what I've read, there is usually only 25 spots available.

I don't know of anyone else - I'm taking classes at Darton right now. I heard that 80 people applied last year and the cut off score was 980-1000. I'm not sure about my score - it's low at around 780 because I am taking 3 of the pre-req classes now so they won't count. I'm really hoping that not many apply - totally selfish, I know! November seems so far away - that is torture!

Omg I totally agree, I hope there aren't many applying! 80 people applied to the bridge? That sucks...I really don't want any competition....now I'm being selfish;)

Lol, I've been checking everything I can in my score account to see if ANYTHING is different. I emailed the secretary of the nursing department and she said the letters should go out "around the first part of October." I'm getting anxious!! Highlands is the only school I applied to because I have taken all of my classes there.
