Questions for the "LPN Program"

First I would like to congratulate all who got accepted to the LPN recently!!!:balloons: .

Quick question. I have been accepted to LPN program, Partime Night CLASS 4 days a week. Would it be wise to work full time during the program? Im guessing no, but some say yes. Thankyou.

Congratulations on getting accepted into your LPN program! My program was a night/weekend thing, too. We were told in an orientation program to clear our nights/weekends and keep them open due to classes and clinicals. I know people who worked FT while they went thru the program and others who worked PT. I didn't work at all. I think, if you can, I would suggest you work PT. The classes take up quite a bit of time. There is quite a bit of studying to do and lots of reading. You don't want to put yourself under any more pressure then you have to at this point. That's just my 2 cents worth, though. Other people may say it was no problem to work FT. And I'm a new grad, too, so fresh out of class myself!

Good luck to you!

LOL. OOPS. I deleted my post, when I tried to correct a spelling error.:uhoh3:

Thank you for input! Most likely I will work PT instead of FT..

Hi there!

Im currently in a part time evening LVN program. Pretty much every one in my class works full time and most of them are doing fine. In my first quarter I worked 32 hrs a week doing weekend doubles. Working in the day mon-fri didn't work for me as I needed the day time to study. I had no problems keeping up. I would suggest bulding up your hours to what your able to handle as I am now in third quarter and thinking about decreaseing my hrs down to 24. Im starting to feel burnt out and this quarter is requiring tons of study time.

Did Anyone Take Tht C-net Pn Test 2007?
