If there is any funds left over from grants and or loans will Lincoln tech allow me to purchase a laptop? Was going to purchase an iPad with phone service provider but if I can get a laptop with financial aid that would be better!! ALSO WHAT ARE OTHER SUPPLIES THAT I WILL NEED WHEN SCHOOL STARTS!

Specializes in Lpn, RN, NP hopeful.

I go to lincoln tech in edison l.p.n. program the tuition is higher than financial aid offers because it a certificate program, not a degree . You will have to take out loans if they are federal loans you will still have a co payment every month because you will still have a balance after financial aid and student federal loans. I hope this helps

You will need highlighters, index cards post it tabs to separate the chapters to aid in studying. Of course pape,r pens, pencils, a calendar to put assignments in you will have projects and papers due, many exams, etc. For clinical you will need a watch, the school will provide you a stethoscope, pen light, scissors, blood pressure cuff and a fanny pac. White sneakers, white long sleeve t shirt under uniform for the winter. They only give you 2 sets of scrubs. Get extra it just has to all white.

Why would you attend this school? Is it even accredited? They are so high priced. There will be nothing left over from financial aid. I'm sure you will be paying much more than what financial aid provides. Have you even sat down and figured out the financial aspect of paying for your schooling with a for profit school like this.

Please, run away from this school as fast as you can. Before you owe them $30k and have no job because you went to a school like this. And do not listen to their salespeople/counselors. Anything that comes out of their mouths is a lie.
