Hello! I have a favor to ask of an LPN!! For my Introduction to Practical Nursing class we have to interview an LPN. As I don't really know any LPN's, I thought I would do it this way. The interview is only 12 questions and the answers only need to be like a sentence long. Also, the interview is just for our personal knowledge. If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it!!

QUESTIONS:

1. Name of the LPN

2. Where is the LPN employed?

3. What shift does the LPN work?

4. What is the job title of the LPN's supervisor?

5. Does the LPN do head to toe exams in this work setting?

6. Does the LPN write the care plan in this work setting?

7. Does the LPN update the care plan in this work setting?

8. What type of charting does the LPN do in this work setting?

9. Does the LPN admit patients in this work setting?

10. What types of skills does the LPN routinely perform in this work setting?

11. Does the LPN mix any medications (example: Rocephin and Lidocaine) in the same syringe in this work setting (and list what types)?

12. Does the LPN administer insulin in this work setting?

What kinds of insulin are given?

Does the LPN mix any insulin in the same syringe in this work setting (and list which types)?

If someone could do this for me that would be awesome!! My email is [email protected], if you don't feel comfortable posting your info all over the internet :p

Thank you!!!!

Lindsey
