My friend is starting the lvn program with me in January and she is also taking a&p 1 and microbiology at the community college! Don't you agree she's insane! She doesn't work but she does have kids and a boyfriend!

I don't think she is insane. I think her courseload is a little too extreme but I believe it is possible to take your bridge prereqs concurrently with a practical/vocational nursing program and be successful. I start my Med-Surg (Level 2 of 3 in the program) in January and I have enrolled in Human Anatomy and Physiology at the college I will be bridging to once I complete my practical nursing program. Once you have a feel for the rigors of a PN program and have demonstrated good study habits and you know what you can handle, I don't see an issue. In my third level I plan to take General Psych, then Abnormal Psych right after I finish so that I can start my bridge the next semester. Support her ambition!
