Gerontology certification questions

I'm all signed up to take the gerontology certification through the NFLPN. Has anybody taken the exam already? Which books did you use to study? How many questions were there? What type of questions?(multiple choice, true/false, fill-in) How long did it take for you to receive the certification?

The CD they send out as "study materials" is boring and very difficult to watch. I bought this book http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0323069991/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00, but it seems overkill and probably meant for RNs.

I just want to get an idea of what the exam is like so I know how to study for it.

Well I'll let you know how to goes in about 2 weeks, I'm scheduled to take the exam next week.

Did you take this certification? If so how hard was it and how long did it take for you to complete it? I am interested in it but I am very curious about how it works?

I know this is an old thread, but how hard was the exam? I am taking it next week. Says 104 questions.
