if you had but one resource to start with

by Claymor

Hello all!

I have been reading for several days and have found some wonderful info on this board. I am a 12 yr BSN with 8 yrs ER and 5 yrs ICU. I also spent a total of 3 yrs as a drug rep for two of the largest house hold names in the industry. I am going to start marketing myself for some LNC work but want to get started with a good primer of the medical legal language. If you had a single or even a select few resources (book, DVD series,..) to start with what would it be?
I'm interested in the book listed on the VM site but wonder is that proprietary? What about something from one of the organizations?

Anything to help me get a start in the right direction.

Thanks so much for this wonderful discussion board!!

Hello Claymor, I have found the Legal Terminology Primer helpful. It is a book that I purchased off of the AALNC Website. The Legal Nurse Consulting Principles and Practice is a great book, also from AALNC.
