by elin.east Dec 5, '11Hello. I received my RN license in Norway in 1987. I worked as a hospital nurse in Norway for 3 years before moving to California. I took the NCLEX exam for registration in California back in 1988, but I did not pass. Shortly thereafter I got married and started a family. The family moved back to Norway for a 5 year "adventure" from 2002 to 2007 where I resumed my nursing career at the county hospital near where we lived, so I have a total of 8 years nursing experience in Norway. We moved back to Half Moon Bay, California in 2007. I am now seeking a refresher course and/or an NCLEX prep course so I can get ready to take the RN exam again and get certified in California. Can anyone please provide guidance on programs available in my area. Thank you for your help.
