i was wondering if there was anyone with some advice for me. i am just starting out with my prerequisites for my bachelor's in nursing in the states and my ultimate goal is to use my nursing experience in mexico in free clinics. does anyone know of any bsn programs in mexico that are open to international students?

You would have to go to school in Mexico, or go through a very long re-validiation of your credentials process in Mexico if you get your degree in the USA. To go to school in Mexico you have to have your admission to a school arranged and then get you immigration papers. The Secretaria de Educacion Publica is in charge of re-validations. After that you need to get your cedula profesional (license). What is this idea you have about "working" in a free clinic? What free clinic? If you want to work for free, good luck with eating regularly. The Mexican government has programs of universal health care (Seguro Popular, IMSS, Secretaria de Salud). There are some church-run charity clinics.

Find a school in the area you want to be in and inquire. All states have accredited BSN (Licenciatura) nursing schools.
