Anyone applying for JJC's spring semester? I am actually a returning nursing student. I did my first semester in fall of 2008. Had a ton of family problems that occupied most of my time and failed by 3 points. I was so angry at myself for doing all the work to get in and not passing that I gave up for a while. Two years later I'm finally ready to go back. My kids are older and the other issues that distracted me are gone. I have to retake the Teas since they won't take the older versions scores. I'm buying the study guide today and getting started on studying. I talked to the nursing department and they won't hold failing against me, I'll be scored like everyone else. Applications are open next week!

I've applied and the waiting is so stressful. I know they said we would hear something by Nov. 1, but I'm really hoping it will be sooner than that. I would really like to know what the average TEAS scores are for the applicants this time around. I guess the last class had an average score of 79 composite and 86 Reading. Can't wait to find out!
