Choosing a nursing school

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Hello

I am in a bit of a pickle. I have my undergrad degree in Biology. Graduated with a 2.97 GPA. I had a rocky life during those college years due to family stuff.

But I was a EMT for 1 year before college, in my high school senior year. Also did some research during my first undergrad year.

Since then, I have been taking some nursing prerequisites, my GPA has been above a 3.5 always since then.

I am looking at schools at or near Chicago. I have narrowed a list down and was wondering which ones are worth applying too where I would have a fair chance.

Also, I don't know if any of these schools are like the "Kaplan" career institute/ degree programs like they have several here on the east coast.

I'm thinking about these programs

Lewis University

North Park

Ressurection University

Chamberlain

Chicago State

So where should I apply or which programs are worth while?
