Anyone REJECTED from Chamberlain (Addison)?

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Hello,

Has anyone applied for Summer/Fall/Spring semester at Chamberlain's BSN program in Addison, IL and gotten REJECTED? If so, I'd love to know what you applie with (GPA, A2 scores, letters of recommendation). I am very scared that I won't get in because my GPA is terrible. I got an 85% on the A2, and sent in two letters of rec's as well as a personal essay explaining my low grades. I am completing a BA in Psychology and switching careers because I decided nursing is the right choice for me after being a caretaker for 3 years. Any information would be helpful! Thank you to all!

Yes I did and I have one year left till graduation :)

Hi guys my situation is similar my gpa is a 2.73 I was wondering did you guys ever get accepted help please I would appricate any help thankyou !!

Yup..got in. Got one year left.:)

So even with a 2.73 I still have a chance?? And congrats :)!!

If I remember correctly, you need a 2.75 GPA. But always double check with an advisor. Do you have gen eds that you need to complete? Do it at a community college and transfer them over. This way, you can get some of it out of the way and save some money, but you'll get your GPA up. Don't let anything stop you!!

You do need a 2.75... That Is why I am so nervous most of the classes I have taken at the community college will transfer over the ones that brought my gpa down are a computer class and a speech class it was around bad timing that I took those too classes togather. So I don't know if I should still talk to the advisor because of my gpa being a 2.73 instead of 2.75

I was told to meet the 2.75 requirement. So I took a few classes and then applied. I made sure whatever classes I took transferred over. I took the hesi and got a 96 and got in. They look at the overall, not just your gpa. Let me know if you have other questions!
