i am new to home health and feel like i have finally found my place as a nurse. at least for the time being. i have been a nurse for almost two years and struggled to find a full time job. when i did i was miserable. i was basically a dns at an alf. i was overworked and exhausted. i probably should not have taken on this job still being a fairly new nurse.

i am now happy as a clam and excited to start this new adventure in my career. i have know idea where i am headed next but for now i am loving every minute of my job and the patients i get to work with on a daily basis. home health nursing is great!!!

i am currently in a bsn program which requires what seems like a ton of research. this term we are learning about community health nursing. i was fortunate enough to pick the topic of home health to do a little research on, which is great because i get to learn a little more about my current area of nursing. i was hoping some of you veterans to home health nursing could help me out by answering a few questions for me for my upcoming discussion for school. i would really appreciate it. there is another piece to this discussion, i must research and find answers to the same questions and compare and contrast.

thanks in advance for your help!
