Specialties Home Health

Hi, this is for anyone who does home health care as an RN or who knows someone in it. Do you get paid mileage for visits, and if so, how much, please? Is the mileage subject to taxation, just like regular pay?
Thanks!

i have worked for 2 HH agencies. One reimbursed .35cents/mile the other .25cents/mile after the first 25miles. the other miles were claimed in taxes.
I was just offered a job that would pay.55mile, per federal gov.
I just did a contract job with a company that paid .50cents/mile.
Hope this helps.

The agency i work for pays 51 cents a mile. If you dont get paid mileage, i would be checking into that.
