I'm writing this because I told myself if i did good on the hesi I should come back and let y'all know how!!

I just finished taking my hesi for the second time and I passed with an overall score of 92. I'm VERY happy with my grade because after taking it the first time I was really discouraged. For my school I have to take reading, grammar, math, A&P, and critical thinking. My first time taking the test was about 4 months ago and I made A's in all the sections except a&p! Which I made a 72. :( I was really upset bc I had put in so much time studying and I really thought I knew everything for A&P bjt when I got to that section on that test I felt like I hadn't heard of most of it!! So I scheduled the test again &I honestly I put off studying until kinda last min. I was SOOO nervous and couldn't sleep the night before but I ended up passing this time!! With a 96 in A&P :,) I knew most questions on the test I was so surprised! (Not because I didn't study but because I was just expecting the worst)

for READING GRAMMAR AND MATH all you need to review is the HESI admission assessment exam review that you can buy off their website. Just make sure you know everythinggggg in there and you'll be good!

Pocket prep is also good for some practice! (I paid for the upgrade)

A&P you definitely need more than just what's in the book. My MAIN study tool was watching YouTube videos (A&P gmc )in particular. This professor explains everything SO GOOD and makes it easy to understand!!!!!!! I'm convinced she's the reason I made such a good grade on this section. Just watch a few videos a day! Pocket prep also helped me with this section but honestly A&P gmc really did most of it. Known names/general location of muscles & bones. Cranial nerves, Endocrine grands, hormones, blood flow through heart, veins, arteries, ect.

CRITICAL THINKING I honestly didn't study at allll for this I made a 890. It's really about putting the right patient first and what you would ask about a patient first and stuff if you were a nurse. Sorry I'm not much help but you really don't find much online for critical thinking! (Trust me I searched)overall this section wasn't that hard
