Anyone try the P90X Exercise Plan?

Nurses Stress 101

I was watching infomercials late the other night and saw one for the p90X fitness plan. You can supposedly bulk up and lose weight in 90 days on this plan. There are a bunch of personal videos on YouTube that people posted while using this plan. It's "relatively" doable at $120, but I was wondering if anyone else has tried it.....

Here's the link to the plan's website: http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/best_sellers/p90x.do

When I started working out in 2006, I started with the Leslie Sansone walking videos. They worked well for me to get started, but I got bored with them. At first the 15 minute ones were "just right" for me. Then my fitness level improved and I moved up to the 30-minute ones. My body could handle them, but my mind could not. I just got too bored.

That's when I started trying out other programs. I find that I prefer the ones with only a little dancing in them. I am NOT light on my feet and too many little, hopping, dancing steps just frustrate me.

I've liked "Hip-Hop Abs" because the dancing does not require lightness of foot and the leader is a very good teacher who "builds" the steps gradually. I also like some of "The Firm" DVD's because they include weight training as well as cardio -- but find a couple of them have too much fancy footwork dancing for me. So, I just do some of them and not others.

I have recently tried the "Slim in 6" DVDs. I didn't like them at first, but they are growing on me. I'll do one of them for a change of pace about once a week.
