I'm applying for UH MEPN program for Fall 2009. Has anyone heard about the program? It's fairly new but I just want to know what I'm getting myself into...lol. I know overall, nursing school is tough but would like some feedback on the MEPN program itself.

Thanks!

...207 total appl., they are still working on the number, but are thinking 36-40 will be accepted. I don't know how many for each specialty, they would not say (they may not even know)....

Has anyone got a call yet for an interview? They are supposed to be calling sometime this week.

Nope. No 808 calls here....yet!

Keep us posted everybody. I'm just so relieved we have this forum. It definitely helps to share the anxiety with other applicants. I can't wait till we find out. ANY day now...:uhoh3:

No GRE, which they changed after I studied and retook it LOL, 150$ down the drain.

Just the four classes you said, two great ref's, an essay, CV and luck!

Good luck everyone!!!

who do you suggest the two references come from?

I won't know till I get in?! However I believe if you have any medical work/volunteering ref's are best. After that a supportive boss that knows you or science teacher that can speak to more then just your grade....

Anyone else have any thoughts?

You applying 2011?

Oh, or a ref related to a leadership role.
