I've become interested in becoming a military nurse and I have some questions about certain things that I couldn't find the answers to online.
What is the danger of becoming a military nurse, do I have to be concerned that I could lose my life like any other soldier? This is very important to me. I frankly don't want to die
I know that there is a weight requirement for military nursing and I am pretty overweight, do nurses get to attend the military fat camps?
Do I need to go to basic training?
If I receive my BSN, would I be considered an officer?
Does the military have a reserves program for their nurses?
Do you actually get to work in hospitals or is it out on the field. I know they're taking as many people as they can overseas at this point, and I assume, since there is a war going on, there wouldn't be that great quality of medical facilities around. Just wondering if ya'll get to work in hospitals or is it all in tents?
when I was considering going to get my MD I was seriously considering going into the military, but I never actually researched it. I appreciate any help, thank you!
