- 1Oct 5, '11 by Navymm1swawWith a degree in Nursing, it needs to be a nursing career. If you need something now, as stated before, check in with the Active duty programs. I promise you, it is probably not like what you think.
I know that if you get accepted to a masters program in a Critical Shortage Specialty (CSS), the Navy will pay for it via stipends and loan repayments (extended service obligation applies). This is for Reserves. I have put people in that were "traveling nurses". Might be something to look into.
