Hello!

Congrats to everyone who is almost graduating nursing school. I would love to get in touch with some of you who are finishing up with school in the next couple of months . I wanted to know if anyone is going to San Diego or currently living in the New Jersey or New York area and would like to meet or chat. Study hard we are almost done!

Howdy. I actually saw your other post before I saw this one and already replied to you on there regarding this same subject. I will repost it here.

I'm in the exact same boat. Graduate December, NCLEX January (or as soon as I can), ODS February or March (LCDR Gomez says most likely March), and San Diego "tentatively" after that. I was also curious about the word tentative. San Diego was my top choice, and I would hate to get the rug pulled out from under me now that I have it in my mind where I am going. Obviously I will be happy to go wherever they send me and not controlling my destination is the nature of the beast. I am curious also, though, if anybody previous NCPer's "tentative" orders changed.

On a more personal note, my name is Will, and I live in Louisiana. Looking forward to getting in the Navy and starting my post-college life. It'd be nice to actually have talked to someone before we all go to ODS.

sorry it took me so long to reply. I never got a notice or anything that someone posted. Are you still heading to San Diego? When are you going to ODS?
