Older student checking in

U.S.A. Georgia

This is my first post and I think this forum is great. I am 42 years young and strating school this January. I am going to Clayton State and have so many questions. Is Clayton good for older students or would I be better at a community college? By me being as old as I am, would an ADN be better for me? I was going for a BSN originally. Also have any of you older students had to start from the beginning? I have no college and would need everything? This really scares me!! Also this compass test is terrifying as well. Any suggestions or advice would be great. Thanks

Hi tagevans,

Clayton State is a wonderful university for non-traditional students. The class sizes are small, so you get to know your professors. I think that it is an excellent place to begin a college career. I have a degree from Clayton State and I would go back for another one. It is a great place.
