    Hi there!

I'm almost positive that you cannot obtain your LPN online because of the clinical aspect, but there are many good LPN programs in GA! I'm not sure where you are in GA., but most technical schools have Practical Nursing programs. Lanier Tech, Athens Tech, Atlanta Tech, Gwinnett Tech, etc, etc. Find the technical school closest to you. Chances are they have an LPN program.

I know for sure that Lanier Tech. has a part-time LPN program that allows you to also work. But usually these programs are full-time and in order to complete them you have to be creative with your work schedule or find alternative ways to juggle bills.

    Good luck!!!

Thanks so much for the helpful info. I will contact the technical schools in my area and inquire about their LPN programs. I am hoping that I can take the non-clinical courses in the evening and then figure out the clinical portion when I get to that stage. Great insight - thanks!!

Yes, you can complete your pre-reqs. at night or online! Once accepted, nursing programs usually follow a set schedule that all students must adhere to for lectures and clinical times. Generally the schedule is during the day throughout the week.

    Good luck!

I don't think that you can do LPN school online due to the amount of clinic hours required by the state.

I don't personally know of an evening program, but I know that clinical hours can change due to hospital demands. You could see evening hours and when classes start, find out they are in the day now or vice versa. At least that is what I was told at the college I attend.

I'd search the list of tech schools posted already for you and see what the schools in your area offer. I hope you find what you are looking for.
