They're excepting 90?! That's awesome! I thought they were only taking 60 so that's the best news I've gotten in a while! Thanks Sings&shoots! Do you have any idea of how many they're taking for the accelerated? I applied for both but would prefer accelerated....I thought they took about 35 for accelerated but I'm def. not sure on that one!

I believe you are right, it is 35 for accelerated.

Hi everyone I just like to look at the future nursing students I remember when I applied back in spring of 2009 for spring semester 2010....time flies by so fast in nursing school here before you know it you'll be almost done. I graduate fall 2011 with my bachelors degree in nursing and I can tell you. Nursing is no where near a walk in the park.

Overall GPA: 3.2

5 Best Math/Science: 3.6

7 of 12 Pre-Reqs: 3.88

TEAS V: 90.6

I have a previous degree from GaTech. I'm currently finishing my last two pre-reqs: PSYC 3305 and BIOL 2261. April 1st seems like forever to wait! I received an email from Fran about a week ago that also said late March/early April. Hopefully it will be late March!

I'm taking those two classes as well. Sure wish I already had them to go into my GPA calculation, as I"m pretty sure I'm gonna get an A in both. I also have Chem II, which is not so easy. Good luck!

I never thought I would be thankful to my professors for giving me so many tests and projects in one month!!! I'm definitely staying busy too sreed73! I've absolutely convinced myself that I won't hear anything for at least 3 more weeks so there is no point in worrying about it because there isn't anything I can do right now to improve my chances! hope everybody else is doing okay with the stress of waiting!

The waiting is stressful, but I feel like we will be finding out soon. For all current KSU, happy spring break! And for non-KSU students, I hope you have your break soon and can relax :)

I am off to Massachusetts this week to move all my things down to Ga. Hopefully we will find out soon after this week.

In the past I know that people have been able to log on to Owl Express and then go to "program applications" and click on "nursing interview sign up" prior to getting their interview letters in the mail to see if they are able to sign up for an interview time. I know that it has been saying that "you are not preselected for an interview" for the last few weeks just because they had not decided yet. The link to the "nursing interview sign ups" was down today though so I'm not sure if they were working on updating it....? has anybody checked it to see if it allows anybody to sign up? The link has been fixed and mine still says that I haven't been preselected for an interview so I was just wondering.... P.S. nobody panic, I have no idea if they've made any decisions yet and I'm not sure if you can still cheat the system by checking owl express for interview sign ups or if they've fixed that little glitch in their system.

I can't tell you how many times I've checked Owl Express. I'm guessing they still haven't made selections.

KSU was doing some kind of maintenance over Spring Break on Owl Express so that may have been the reason you couldn't get it. I've checked Owl Express as well with the same results. Hopefully around 2 weeks left before we start getting letters in the mail! I hope it goes by quickly!!
