Emory Crawford Long and ADN New Grads...

I am just finishing up my last semester clinicals at Crawford Long. Our group heard that Emory Crawford Long and i guess the emory system is working on Magnet Status and that it will mean that less and less ADN will be hired and that BSN will be given preference as a criteria for Magnet Status is the ratio of BSN nurses caring for patients. Does that mean that they will get to a point where they will no longer hire new grad ADNs or just state a preference in the employment listings (like other hospitals here already do) that they prefer new grad BSNs???? Anyone else have any information on this??? This bit of info was coming from someone who is involved in the Magnet Status process for the hospital.
