Armstrong Atlantic Fall 2014 - BSN

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hey everyone,

I was accepted to the traditional program for this Fall, and I was hoping to get in contact with some future classmates! If you are doing your interview process, please chat too, I would love to get to know everyone. I'm currently in Atlanta, so I obviously have no friends haha. :roflmao: But seriously, I wish everyone luck on their interviews, and congrats to everyone who has already been accepted!!

I am going to the advisement on the 4th. Will I see anyone there?

Heyyy! So I am part of the accelerated program but figured I join this thread too because I need to meet people. All the friends I used to have in Savannah have all graduated and moved on now, so its time I make new friends... preferably nursing ones.

I'll start a facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/622240144510734/

Yes, nursing friends are a necessity! I'm about to join the group. I have seen a lot of Georgia Southern threads, but not many Armstrong ones.

Hey guys, I just got ACCEPTED TO AASU traditional program and im looking forward to seeing everyone next week :)

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll see you next week. What are you going to wear? Regular street clothes or business casual?

Thank, Congrats to you as well!! Im going to wear business casual just to be on the safe side lol. Im from Atlanta as well, i will be flying out Friday morning.

Do you know what we are going to be doing? Bc if there is a lot of walking I will opt for some flat shoes!

I was going to fly as well, but it was going to cost too much for a one day round trip. Looks like i will be driving the 4 1/2 hours!! The hotels were pretty pricey for one night too, so I am coming right back after. It will be a long day for sure.

Specializes in ICU.

I used to live in Savannah and go back quite often. That being said there is a Red Roof Inn or a Comfort Inn on Eisenhower or Stephenson that we have stayed at several times usually for about $50-60/night. It is right off of Abercorn which is what AASU is off of. Just thought I would throw that out there if you wanted to stay over. That turn around drive is a beast (I am now in Atlanta). Good luck in school!

Thanks so much! I will definitely consider staying now.

So who is taking patho this summer??

Me!! You?!

Yes!! As long as I can get my financial aid situated in time. I didn't add AASU until a few weeks ago, so I don't know of they'll give me funds for summer :/. Is there only one class or multiple times to chose from?
