Where can I get free AJN nursing articles online?

I have to do a paper and it needs to come from a reputable nursing journal, it doesn't have to be AJN, but I normally use them as my source and I can't think of the others right now. If anyone knows of a good online resource for journal articles I would appriciate it very, very much!!! (Free is preferable lol). I'd like to find them online because I don't have time to go to the library during the week.

Thanks in advance!!! :nurse:

Have you checked with your school library concerning online articles? My school library has a connection to EBSCO and has full text articles from nursing/medical journals available online through this connection. Of course they have this available for most academic areas offered at the school but I use the Nursing link all the time for research, papers, etc. Perhaps someone at the library can tell you more about this and how to access it, if they offer it. Good Luck and wish I could tell you more.

SoulShine75. . .the only nursing articles that I know of that can be accessed for free are the ones that are offered for continuing education credit. I just got my copy of RN Magazine the other day and there were 3 or 4 articles in it that offered CEUs. Sure enough, they are also online and have free access at their website. Doesn't AJN give subscribers access to all archieved online articles if you have a current subscription? Nursing 2006 and Nursing Made Incredibly Easy do it. They publish an online access code number you need to register to gain this access. If you have a subscription to AJN you should check to see if they also do this. AJN articles are also free if they have CEUs attached to them. You can search for them at this site: http://nursingcenter.com/home/index.asp Don't let all the advertisement for the costs fool you. They let you have access to most of the texts of the CE (continuing education) articles for free. The only exceptions are the ones that appeared in the nursing specialty journals. You only have to shell out the dough if you want to take the post test and get the continuing education credit.
