Hey guys. After you complete your lpn, do you have to do this transition course? In my school, I see it's a 4 credit course over the summer. I'm not sure if they still do it anymore since my college catalog is old. Has anyone ever taken this course before? What do you do in it? Is it hard or laid back? Also, do you have to take it if you were in the RN program before?

Generally the summer transition courses are for those enrolled in the LPN to RN program. You normally can't take that course without being in the bridge program. The content of the course is a whirlwind refresher of everything you learned in LPN school to make sure all the LPNs are on the same page before starting the RN program.

I'm in the lpn program now so I am doing the bridge program. Did you take this course?
