I applied for this Fall 2016 at UTA for the AP and campus programs and I got wait listed for both and I ended up not getting accepted. So I applied again for Spring 2017 and I got wait listed AGAIN. My HESI scores are 80% average for reading, writing etc and 98% for math. My overall GPA is 3.5 and Science classes is 3.5. I know there might not be very competitive so this semester I am retaking some classes which would bring my overall GPA to 3.67 and I am also taking a nutrition class to be able to apply to TWU and TCU.

Do you honestly think I'll get accepted?

I am also planning on applying to TCC, El centro College, Mountainview College, then UTA TWU and TCU for Fall 2017. I do not want to wait forever so I am thinking that maybe I should just go to Concorde for LVN (expensive), which would be better than to wait and then not get accepted at all!

I have also tried getting a hospital job since I have a phlebotomy certification but so far no luck...

What do you guys think? Should I wait and see or should I just go for LVN and be done with it.

Are you unable to attend a school out of the DFW area? I understand that TAMU has recently launched a BSN program in Texarkana - sometimes it is easier to gain admission to a new program. Weatherford & Stephenville aren't too far away & they have nursing programs.
