The one thing you wish you learned prior to Nursing School?

Hey guys, im just curious as to everyone's experience so far. What is the one thing, or couple of things, you wish you would have learned ahead of time prior to starting Nursing School that would have made things much easier for you?

Hey guys, im just curious as to everyone's experience so far. What is the one thing, or couple of things, you wish you would have learned ahead of time prior to starting Nursing School that would have made things much easier for you?

I'd have to answer as a working nurse, rather than a student, but I'd say that one thing that I'd suggest to those just starting out is to lose the word "murse" from your vocabulary. Most nurses --male and female--tend to cringe when they hear that one. Makes a sexist statement where there's really no reason for it.
