hi everyone, does anyone know if there such thing as private TEAS preparation class (i.e. Kaplan prepare students for SAT and LSAT)? thanks.

I have never heard anyone mention a class like this before... however all I studied was the TEAS study guide that is availible from ATI and I got a 92% on the test. The guide goes through everything that you need to know to do well on the test.

my friend told me the science section is different than teh study guide. she said the science part is life science instead of the micro, phkysiology, and anatomy that she took.

I think the science part just depends on what question set you get. I only had one anatomy question (that was extremely easy). I got a whole lot out of the ATI study guide and definitely think it's worth picking up and studying if you have the time before the exam.

In my opinion, the TEAS does not require a college education to score well on. Everything in it was very basic level stuff you will have gotten in high school. Know how to read your periodic table, be able to use a few formulas, and you'll definitely be fine. You don't need to know the Krebs cycle backwards and forwards (yes I did that ). It's just basic knowledge. Pick up the ATI guide so you know what level of stuff you need to be studying. Don't freak out!! It's not that bad.
