Stinking Impossible Class Schedules!

:angryfire My program requires that we take Bioethics for our BSN, yet the college only offers the class during conflicting times with 12 hour clinical days. Additionally, my advisor said that though it was offered as a summer class once, she heard it was probably not going to be offered again.

When trying to register for classes today, I got Bioethics covered, then was in for the second half of the semester's clinical on Thursdays. The only problem is the first half Thursday clinical is closed. Voila, no options available.

It would seem that these kinds of problems could be ironed out between the departments, but no such luck. Why can't colleges offer more online options? It will really suck if I can't graduate with the rest of the class because of this kind of crap. sheesh.

Anybody know of a good online Bioethics class?

Does your college accept Excelsior College Examinations for credit? Many colleges do, and EC offers an 'Ethics: Theory and Practice' exam, and if I'm not mistaken, a new bioethics one as well. Something to potentially investigate.

Thanks for the reply Eric. I will have to check it out. The other area colleges around here are not offering anything online either.
