Figured if I buy them in two or three trips I can actually carry them all without a wagon,LOL.....got 7 required books today that totaled $408.00.....have 3 more required to get and then there are 7 optional that I am going to pick and choose from....I have 600 on account right now(minus the 408) for books so I'm gonna use all of it......anyway I have this pile of books sitting on my bedside table and I smile everytime I look at them,LOL!!!!!

You won't be smiling in February...or March...or April....:)

Not as much anyway......I have wanted to do this for ten years and finally I can......worked my butt off to get pre-reqs out of the way so I am gonna try my best to stay positive about it all! It has been my dream for a while and finally it's here........

Wow, that sounds both exciting and EXPENSIVE!! Although I understand your wanting to look through them...don't over do it...it's your winter break and next month this time you'll be knee deep in your books.

Me, I'm planning on reading a novel or two....I need to relax!

Yeah, I wanted this too, and now I'm about ready to burn my darn books. If I have to do another care plan or read about some funky disease, I'm gonna scream! Oh wait, after Monday, I have almost a month off. WOOHOO!!!! But, I'm still gonna put those books on my shelf and not look at them. AT ALL!!!!

Before I started I was all excited about my books too. They just don't have that same feeling after almost two years of looking at them. You just want them to go away...:)

I'm not even gonna OPEN them until the full class syllabus(that we have to buy) hits the shelf. Once I get it I will check and recheck that every book is the correct one before opening them,LOL. We have our first day of class on a clinical day though and have to have our first week of objectives completed before that day so I will have to open them right after New Years.....if I do it too soon though I won't remember!
