RN Comprehensive Predictor 2013

So after stressing:dead: myself out for over a week yesterday I took the RN Comprehensive Predictor 2013. I scored a 68% which calculated to be an 87% probability to pass the NCLEX the first time:nurse:. At my school you have three shots to make at least an 85% pass the first two tries before pinning, in which if you do not pass you do not get pinned and the last time after pinning where they will endorse you for your NCLEX exam if you score 85% or higher. Be prepared to know what patient to see first as in your getting end of shift report and you have 4 patient's with different problem which patient do you need to see first. There were ALOT of those on this test. Brush up on mental health especially schizo, there really were not a lot of medicines on this test, but do know lab values, and digoxen levels urine specific gravity, RBC's, WBC, etc. If you have done review question with ATI you may recognize some of the same question just worded a little differently. I think everyone in my class made at least 85% or higher. Just know the basics remember your ABC's Airway, breathing, Circulation and APIE Assess, Plan, Implement, Evaluate. Also know what you can delegate to APs and LPNs. I hope this help and good luck to those out there taking this test!!! You've Got it!!!!!:yes:

Oh boy, I remember this. I got a 92% and I don't know how cause I thought I was doing TERRIBLY. Our school required a 90 percent to pass. Kudos for posting tips for others, because I'll bet they are as nervous as I was!!

The clinical report sheet that I mentioned is on the first page of this post under Esme12's comment.

Hey elise-e i just sent you an email to your gmail account.

Hi carolina_mom, I guess I can't pm yet... so if you get an opportunity my e-mail is [email protected]

I was just curious if you had any advice for me to help pass my ATI comp B, I got a 64 and need to get a 72.7 to pass. I take it in three week and am needless to say extremely nervous and am looking for any advice as to how to ensure I pass. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I took that a few weeks ago and I got a 72 with 94% chance of passing. To be honest, I felt as though I was guessing more than half of the time and it made me feel stupid.

We have to get a 90 on our ATI tests. I took test A the other day and am going to do test B before taking the proctored which scheduled is on November 24th. Ours isn't the predictor though. I'm still in my first semester but we do tons of ATI stuff.

Would anyone be able to send me their topics to review/focused review for the comprehensive predictor test? Please email me, [email protected] ANY HELP would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks y'all!

@ThePrincessBride

Would you want to trade focus reviews/topics to review?

JK i rather just have some pointers on study tips, best way to prepare? thx!

I took the predictor test yesterday. It was full of priority and delegations. Scored 65% with 75% chance to pass the NcLE

Really? Not bad, good job! What version did you take? Not looking for topics or anything, just wondering how many diff versions there are, so i can titrate what ppl have said about the test per version they took! Wondering if any are harder than the others...

also, what do you recommend i do the day before to BEST PERPARE for this exam?! You can email me at [email protected] if you want, it might be easier to have a quick convo, thnks a ton.. i REALLY appreciate ur help.

I just took the 2013 predictor, and scored an 86.7, which was a 99% chance of passing NCLEX - its not an A but hey, it's close enough. My school requires that we make at least 95% chance of passing to test out, which is pretty tough. I did 100 NCLEX questions a day for about 4 weeks to prepare. I recommend getting a good night's sleep before the test, and utilizing your allotted time during the test to read each question slowly - it's easy to get in a hurry with so many questions. I also attended an ATI Live Review at my school for three days, which I think helped a lot.
