I chose a brick-and-mortar school because I wanted the classroom experience, but the costs have gone up (15% this year and another 15% projected for next year) and the course offerings are getting sporifice. Not to mention the professors are stressed from having their course load increased that the quality of the program has declined significantly. My school will be opening up the program to double the number of graduate students for this fall but I doubt they will see that many. This fall (2011) only one class will be offered and total cost for the term will be somewhere around $2400 for 1-6 units. If two classes were offered then this is inline with many programs, but for one class, the cost is $800/unit, and the quality is just not there. This term I took 3 classes in order to save money, but my grades have suffered and I regret this. I cannot keep up this pace with my job.

At this point I may not continue and will search out an online MSN- ED program, thanks for letting me vent!
