Graduation is in less than a month and we have our last test tomorrow before finals. I have already taken the exit HESI, have an exciting internship that I start in June and have an awesome beach vacation planned for the week after graduation! I HAVE ZERO MOTIVATION TO STUDY FOR TOMORROW'S TEST! I have an A in the class and would love to keep it, but am taking a break right now from studying. Anyone else have a hard time getting through the last month of school?

Absolutely! I think it's called 'senioritis'...or school burnout but I'm with you. And all of my classmates agree as well.
So....where is your beach vacation??? Sounds lovely.
Well, we are going to Cancun for a week! I am so excited. I think I am also nervous, I mean, I am finally going to be a real nurse! We have worked so hard for this and it is here.....
I have three clinical days, three class days, two finals and the NCLEX!
How is the weather up there in N.E.? I think the 90 degree heat here is making it worse! I want to go outside and play!

Too much studying can be a negative... maybe you've done enough.
Good luck!
I wish, haven't looked through all the notes once! Love your emblem!

Hmmm..how funny. I thought that our group, we are from Pikeville, KY. were the only ones that felt this way! I think our last final is May 6th. I have a B in both classes and am proud of it, however I have so much that is happening in the next 4 weeks! I am goin to take NCLEX on June 6th...nerve racking! I am scared about it....but I need to graduate first I guess..haha 4 tests left in the next 9 school days...don't know how I'm gonna do it??? I feel overwhelmed yet have no motivation anymore. I am sick of this crap...haha. I have a great internship I start in the ED on June 12, and a PRN job I start May 22nd on a med/surg unit.... we are moving to anew city and I AM SO EXCITED! I WANT OUT NOW!

:rotfl: Ain't that the truth! it's a miracle drug! :wink2: When my husband got out of the Army we had a whole medicine cabinet full of prescription strength motrin.
One time our neighbor chopped off his big toe with the lawn mower, they sewed it back on, slipped him some Motrin, and told him to be sure to be at formation the next morning...That was my favorite Motrin story, for some reason, although there are many..... Ahhhh, I miss those days.
Back to the topic...I HEAR YA'!...I have so much junk to do and not an ounce of desire to do it. I keep having dreams about not getting all my work done, which causes me to flunk my final class. I think my subconscious is trying to motivate me.... don't think it's working!
Hang in there, it will be over before we know it.
