NCLEX-RN 2016, Pearson vue trick, California BRN

I want to share my experiences with the NCLEX-RN since I was constantly on this site looking for answers and advise to my concerns. I recently graduated in June and recieved my ATT the middle of July. I live in California and there are huge delays but I was suprise at how fast it happened. I scheduled my ATT and gave myself 3 weeks to study. I put myself on a strict study schedule, I used Kaplan all the way to last week. My friend offered me to use her UWorld for the last week because I got tired of doing Kaplan.

I took my NCLEX on Friday, August 12 at 1:30 pm. I was schedule to test at 2 pm but I arrived early and was able to start early. I got a total of 75 questions, 12 SATA, 9 Meds. It was tough and I hated majority of the answers I chose. It took me 1 hour and 50 minutes, to finish.

I cried right after and felt defeated, I honestly thought I failed. My friends met me right after, they took their NCLEX before me and both passed. I was a mess and didn't want to be around anyone. They convince me to try the Pearson-Vue trick 4 hours after. I got the good pop-up, however I still didn't believe it and didn't want to get my hopes up. I tried it again on Saturday, and I still got the good pop up. Monday I was anxious and tried it again and I still got the good pop-up. I found out midnight on Tuesday that I passed.

I hope that this will help someone who may had similar questions I had prior and after boards.
