Micro, A&P2, and Nutrition in a 12-week Summer semester? - Page 2Register Today!
- Nov 30, '10 by bhansonI took Microbiology and A&P II last summer and found it very easy. During a normal semester I've been taking 4 classes (12-16 credits) while working 3 12 hour shifts a week. I find that to be harder than last summer because I cut my hours down to 2 12 hour shifts a week. This extra day gave me PLENTY of time to do all of my work and I actually had quite a bit of free time.
I finished Microbiology with a 97 and A&P II with a 100. I studied for about 20 hours a week.
I was hesitant to take any additional classes because I wanted to guarantee my As, but it turns out that fear was false.
Interesting fact: In order to be eligible for full-time financial aid at my school you have to take 12 credits during summer. Anything less is considered part time and in my experience that seems about right.

- Dec 2, '10 by VannVann2008bhanson, you have given me the courage to take A&P II and Microbiology this summer I am very excited because so many people say you cannot do something pumps you up to want to do it more. I have a daughter and hopefully I will be working by then (fingers-crossed) so it will be a challenge. Thanks for the thread and thanks for the advice
