    Hello,
I am new to this and will be new to the nursing world as well. I have already graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology in 1999 and now I realize that I should have stuck with my instincts to be a nurse. I am 29, not married, no kids and currently working for a nonprofit as a Health Initiatives Director. I have all my prereqs except for Microbiology, which I will be taking in January and hopefully I will get accepted to a program in the Fall 2004. Need some help... would you recommend a BSN or an ADN program since I already have a B.S.?? I have been looking into an accelerated BSN program but it's pretty expensive and I am not sure if it will make a big difference since I already have a B.S. and strong administration/work experience. I would appreciate any advice.

    Hi

I'm Teresa, an "older" student at 48.

I'm in an ADN program in North Carolina. I finish pre-reqs this semester and should start clinicals in January.

I've been checking out this site and have found so much that's helpful.

    Hello everyone,

I am new to the site, just found it last night. I am still in school at Jacksonville State University in Alabama. Just started my clinicals this semester. I have been in school for 5 years now (several changes in majors). I like to say that I am working hard in school, I am completing a 4year degree in 7 lol. I am 23 and will graduate in April 2005. Single no kids. Well that is my story for now
